After years of standing on the sidelines while my husband and children were actively involved in caring for our Friesian horses I finally have a horse of my own, The Feathered Horse. I purchased the Feathered Horse from Lesa Nelson at the end of 1999. Lesa has done a wonderful job starting this business. I intend to carry on with much of the same inventory as Lesa did plus add many more exciting items. Having both been born in the Netherlands, my husband and I frequently travel to the Netherlands and I hope to be able to bring home many of the Friesian items they carry and add them to the Feathered Horse's inventory. We are pleased to be able to announce our association with Tweespan, a Friesian horse tack store in the Netherlands. Tweespan is the creator of the Fryso saddle, a handmade saddle designed specifically for the Friesian horse. The Feathered Horse is the sole distributor of the Fryso saddle in North America for Tweespan. RETURNS: We will be happy to exchange or refund any item returned within 30 days in new condition. If you have a problem with any of our products please let us know and we will try to satisfy you.
COPYRIGHTS: Almost everything in our catalog was designed exclusively for The Feathered Horse and is copyrighted. The artwork can be used only with prior permission, please notify us with any requests. We will be happy to share the name of the artists with you if you would like to have something custom done.
SHIPPING: Items in stock are shipped within 24 hours. If we are out of stock of an item you will be informed at the time the order is placed and you will be given an approximate ship date. Please remember that most of our items are not mass produced and are generally made one at a time. You will never be charged for anything until it is shipped.
WEB SITE: Our web site has the catalog items available for viewing. You can order through the web site, print out an order form and either fax or mail it. From time to time we will be adding new items to the site, that might not be in the catalog. You will be able to see them on our new items page on our web site. At this time we are planning on two catalogs a year. Please contact us to get on our mailing list and have a catalog sent directly to your home.
